About Canaan Valley Resort
With a total of 39 trails, this mountain winter playground awaits your arrival. From the moment you step from your vehicle and breathe the cool, clean air - you'll know you've escaped the daily grind. Swoosh down on of our intermediate or black diamond trails, or take it slower in the beginner areas (Timber Trail from top of mountain to base is 11/4 mile in length). Additional amenities include snowboarding, snow tubing, ice skating, and airboarding. If relaxation is more your speed, enjoy a massage or the indoor pool and whirlpool at the lodge. Enjoy XC skiing in a natural, breathtaking setting with over 30km of ungroomed trails available at no charge. With an average snowfall of 150-160", take the drive from the city and get away from it all in the mountains of West Virginia.

The Hickory Dining room at the Main Lodge offers a skier's buffet breakfast every weekend that can't be beat in the valley. Lunch and dinner also served daily. The Bear Paw Lodge and Quenchers are available at the Ski Area for those skier cravings that hit in the middle of the day. For your quick, on the go meals - stop in Pazzo's Pizza at the Main Lodge for a home made pizza, cup of soup, or your favorite grilled items.

The Laurel Lounge is open nightly at 5pm offering a relaxed setting to enjoy your favorite after dinner drink or cold beverage. Just a short drive to Davis, WV (10 miles) - you can enjoy local favorite watering holes, Blackwater Brewery & Mountain State Brewery for a cup of ale.
