Described by former US Olympic coach Lee Borowski as the best in the mid-west and equal to anything else in the country, the Michigan Tech ski trails are both USSA and FIS homologated. World class and close to home; you won't believe how great it is! Experience world class skiing right here in the mid-west. Over 220 inches of annual snowfall means excellent early season skiing and a season that extends into April. Over 7 kilometers of lighted trails.

Cross Country Skiing Lessons at Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Trails
The Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Club offers lessons.
Ski Racing Programs at Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Trails
The Copper Country Ski Tigers as well as the Michigan Tech varsity team trains and race at the Michigan Tech trails. We host a number of races every year including the annual Copper Loppet. We hosted the 2007 and 2008 U.S. Cross Country Championship (aka Senior Nationals).

The Tech Trails were completely renovated in 2002. Over $1 million has been invested in new trails, grooming equipment and infrastructure. Community wax room open 24/7. Lights added and ten kilometers of new trails recently added.
