To fully appreciate the mountain scenery Big White has to offer, Cross Country skiing offers the perfect blend of exercise and sight seeing, and with 25 kilometres of Nordic trails, there is plenty to see and explore. Whether you are a novice or an experienced Nordic skier, Big White has the trails to challenge you.
Big White also offers lessons from Nordic skiers. For more information contact the Big White Ski and Board School at (250) 765-3101 or email at skischool@bigwhite.com. Half day ticket pricing starts at 1:00.

One-on-one cross country lessons are for beginners only. Includes a 2-hour lesson, rentals and track fee. Maximum 3 people. Reservations strongly recommended. Based on availability

Dining Around Big White
Big White has a wide variety of dining options for your dining pleasure. From casual dining in one of the pubs, to an on-mountain bakery with fresh artisan breads. The resort offers a feast of restaurants, lounges, coffee houses and delis with great food to dine-in or take out. There is a total of 18 restaurants, cafés and delis on the mountain, which includes eight lounges and bars.

When the chairlifts close, Big White comes alive with an exciting array of activities for all ages. Every night there is something different and exciting happening at Big White. From live après entertainment, to movie nights, outdoor bonfires, fireworks, and carnival nights, the whole family can keep enjoying the mountain when the sun goes down.

Big White has many non-skiing activities. Guests will find a huge skating rink and across from the skating rink is Adventure Park: Home to the Mega Coaster tube ride, kids and adult snowmobile tours, and the start of the cross-country trail system.
