About Carey Lake
The Carey Lake Trail System is somewhat of a clover leaf / quadrant design. There are two main trail head parking lots. The Black Forest Trail, also our lit trail, is 3.8 km of combination skiing. The Northern Lights trail is 3.4 kilometers - classic only. The Highland Trail is 3.5 kilometers - classic only. The Lake View Trail is 6.9 kilometers of combination skiing. The Carey Lake trail system is maintained by the Hibbing Parks and Recreation Department. The trails are groomed and tracked on a regular basis for both classic and skate skiing. Many skiers say we have some of the best groomed trails in Northern Minnesota. Believe them, we do!

Daily Ski Pass is $3.00, placed in drop of box at trail head.
Individual season pass is $25.00 and a family pass is $65.00.
