About Spruce Lodge
Powderhorn Ski Resort is about 20 minutes from our lodge. Spruce Lodge is located on the largest flat top mesa in the world, Grand Mesa, 1 mile east of scenic and historic byway, Hwy 65. Grand Junction and Montrose airports are about 1 hour away. Spruce Lodge is surrounded by 340,000 acres of USFS land, with a groomed X-ctry ski trail just 100 yards from the lodge. Amenities: 11 cabins w/ fireplaces, kitchenettes (one cabin with full kitchen), seasonal restaurant, lounge, 42" screen T.V. w/ satellite, broadband internet access, 300 lakes on the mountain, 2 fish-filled lakes off the property. Our 70-seat seasonal restaurant currently serves lunch and dinner, 7 days a week, with breakfast coming soon. Prices range from $5-$30 for steaks, fish, hamburgers, chicken strips, soups, chilis, salads. We serve assorted homemade pies, bundt cakes, ice cream, cookies.
