About Homestake Lodge
This season we will have 40km of ski trails. 10km's of those will be dog-friendly, so you will be welcome to bring your pal(s) along. The lodge will have a nicely outfitted ski shop, where you can rent or purchase your own ski equipment. There will also be ski accessories available (wax, hats, gloves, etc.) Enjoy the lodge as a winter or summer destination. The lodge is available to rent out for all types of groups and functions, such as weddings, family reunions, Homestake Lodge is located beneath the Continental Divide just three miles from Interstate-90 and 15 minutes from Butte, MT. Its a fabulous setting with miles of trails through gently rolling terrain of meadows, evergreens, aspens, and beaver ponds. Incredible granite cliffs and rock croppings frame the trail making for interesting scenery.
There's no other place like this in Montana. A nice and cozy lodge allows skiers to arrive in the morning, ski, have lunch, and ski again in the afternoon. Two hostel-style bunkrooms accomodating 20 allow visitors to stay affordably while enjoying the company of others.
Our image is focused around being affordable, sustainable, family-style, and adventure seeking. We love xc skiing, and most activities outdoors. We want to share this with as many people as we can.

Dining Around Homestake Lodge
The lodge (5000 sq ft) is now completed as of October 2008. The lodge consists of a main room with tables, chairs, couches, fireplace, and a coffee/espresso bar. At lunch time there will be a self-serve soup and sandwich buffet with homemade bread. For those bunking in the lodge, the kitchen will be available to cook your own breakfast and dinner.
