About Hiawatha Highlands
Offereing some of the continent's finest Nordic skiing, Hiawatha Highlands is located in the north End of Sault Ste. Marie. With 50 km of Nordic Ski trails (2 of which are lighted until 9:30 pm nightly) and 7 km of double track Snowshoeing, traverse the 3000 acres located just 20 minutes north of the Michigan/Ontario International Border.
Our trail system caters to both the beginner and advanced skier and welcomes all types of Nordic skiing. Whatever trail you decide to ski or snowshoe, you will be surrounded by the soothing sounds of the whispering pines and constant breathtaking scenery of this true winter wonderland

Friday nights from 5-9 are half price all season.
