Fox Peak Terrain
Three fast efficient rope tows total 1.8 miles in length and provide the highest vertical lift (1890 ft) in the region. The top lift takes you to the start of two huge back basins of gentle undulating snow, amid spectacular alpine grandeur and awesome touring trails. Trails beside the lifts are consistently long, wide, fast (if you want) and natural.
The 1600 ft long intermediate and smaller beginner trails are groomed and lie conveniently close to the car park and canteen. They have a graduated gradient to assist in progressive learning. Photos and maps of the trails are at www.foxpeak.co.nz Always check the snowphone (03) 688 0044 before visiting.
