Hurricane Ridge Terrain
The Hurricane Ridge Ski Area is located in the beautiful Olympic National Park. Rising a mile high, Hurricane Ridge offers spectacular winter recreation and activities here on the North Olympic Peninsula, featuring winter vistas unmatched anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. We are a small, family oriented ski area, offering to the Olympic Peninsula residents and visitors a quality winter sports experience, without the high cost and congestion of most ski areas. The Ridge boasts some groomed areas, but for the accomplished skier or snowboarder the steeps, bowls and glades are well worth the effort it takes to get there. With a summit elevation of 5,500 feet, we generally have an annual snowfall of 500-plus inches.
Hurricane Ridge Snowboarding
Tarrain Parks: 1
We are the home mountain to employees of Mervin Manufacturing, makers of fine snowboards, Gnu and Libtech. We are 50/50 skiers to snowboarders. We like to say that if you can ride at the Ridge, you can ride anywhere. We have a small terrain park, and are working on adding more playground equipment!
