Skiing in the sun
Skiers and snowboarders, whether beginners, average or experienced, will find plenty to suit their abilities. With ski regions rising up to 3,600 m, snow is guaranteed in Saas-Fee and the Saas valley. Most of the pistes that are not on the glacier are kept in condition by the 95 snow cannons. This guarantees valley runs in Saas Fee until the end of the season (end of April).
In Saas-Fee in summer, there are 20 km of varied glacier pistes for snow-lovers. So it is only to be expected that the world’s best skiers should come to Saas-Fee to “fine tune” for the winter. On hot summer days, the region is also a meeting place for snowboarders, who enjoy the delights of the Super Pipe in the Snow Park Allalin.

What's New This Season at Saas-Fee/Saastal
Snow making facilities
In time for the winter season 2008/2009, the snow making facilities will be extended up to the Spielboden cable car mountain station.
The village bus is free
Our guests will be able to enjoy the free use of the village bus in Saas-Fee starting this winter. This applies to all village bus routes including the small electric train known as "Allalino". All aboard!
New fun park at Kreuzboden
The freestyle offer is to be extended quite significantly. And for the first time in winter 2008/09, there's going to be a small fun park at Kreuzboden (Saas-Grund) with rails and kickers to make freestylers' pulses race!
