Will Open For 07-08 Season

It's official, the town of Speculator will take over the operations of Oak Mt in an effort to keep this valuable resource to the area open!! According to the HamCoNews, as long as there is snow the plan is to have the mountain up and running by December 26!! This is very exciting since it didn't open at all in 06-07. Hopefully the town will fully utilize the snow making equipment, open the tubbing hill and maybe make a snowboard park!! Many thanks to Neil McGovern & everyone in Speculator who worked behind the scenes to make this happen. |
