as a snowboarder I count on a resorts ski shop to have vital items like $2 uni-disk binding disks just in case I crack one or an extra ratchet strap if one falls off. these people had none of the above and were rude about me asking if they did. they made no reference to a local shop that could fix it, no offer of a rental, I felt the only way they could have insulted me more was by laughing. the lift ops were rude and often held up lines to check my ticket, while neglecting to even out the gate lines for lift access. this place is full of good ol boys who like getting drunk and nothing else, save your money don't go donner ski ranch is WAY BETTER and about the same if not cheaper.

This place not the other place should have been called Heavenly, because of the views.I also feel closer to nature and Lake Tahoe. There are also great places to eat nearby off the mountain.

short lift lines and just enough terrain features made for an awesome day even during holiday season. a bit icy in spots but all around rideable
