Lakeridge Ski Resort Reviews

The chairlift operators are bullies!!!!! They have no idea how to organize large crowds of people, particulary youth, and then they threaten young children and teens that if "they can't get themselves in groups of four, they will rip your ticket off your jacket!' Nothing like paying a fortune for a lift ticket, expecting a fun day and having a cigarette smelling hairy 30 year old bullyiing children as young as 9. Yes, just the lovely family fun atmosphere us parents look for! No wonder many people in Durham region go elsewhere and many school ski clubs have changed resorts.

I usually go to Lakeridge every time my friend and I wanna ride. But the last experience I had totally turned me away from this resort. My lift ticket had fallen off along with my zipper and management refused to print me another one because it is "against their policy" so i asked her to show me a copy, when she replied that it is a verbal policy. showing no sympathy at all, they told me to leave. food at lakeridge is worst than a high school cafeteria a better resort that is around the area of lakeridge is Dagmar

It is a fun local place to ski. While the runs are not long, they are varied and the wait at the lifts was very short. The personnel were personable and fellow customers were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this locale to anyone that happens to live or be visiting in the area.

Where do I start? First of all, they advertise on the their website that they have a coupon book on sale, but when I got there they said they ran out. Ya right!

They are very expensive considering what they offer. The runs are very short, and they were not groomed very well. Their lifts are very slow. And the have teenagers running the place, so you guess what kind of customer service you're gonna get if you have a problem.

Pay the extra $10, and go to Blue Mountain or St. Louis. Even Horseshoe is way cheaper and nicer.

Had an issue with a ticket (bought 3 tickets, they gave me 2). Manager wouldn't refund. Had to purchase a 4th ticket.

Customer service is terrible. Beware!!!
