Calabogie Peaks Resort Reviews

On Monday Feb 04 left Kingston for Calabogie Peaks, had a nice drive there, the weather was sunny with clear blue skies. The hill was well groomed. There were no lift lines therefore I got lots of runs in. Price was right, Mondays are two for one. Meet lots of nice people from all over. Staff at the hill were great. If you haven't skied Calabogie give it a try. You will be glad you did!

We had a great day there today. They are working hard to get everything up and running...ie. Cafeteria, bar...etc. 2 runs were open and there were very few people. I'm sure once the "big snow" comes tonight and tomorrow they will have more runs open. Price was cheap $15.00 per person, though that will not last. Customer service was very good although I was suprised at some of the shabiness of some things. The bathrooms haven't been painted in years, seats in the lunch rooms are not flat (we saw a few people almost fall off them). Microwave worked intermittently. Staff is working hard...hopefully they'll get it up to speed soon. Overall...OK.
