Good value close to home

It's not big and it's not fancy, but if you just want to hit the slopes for a few hours, this is a great spot to go. Centrally located in Milton, it makes for an easy drive from the Hamilton, Mississauga and surrounding areas. They offer great value, especially on weeknights and for students. A separate learning area for beginners helps alleviate fears of ski lifts or being run over by experts, and prevents seasoned skiiers and boarders from complaining that the hills are clogged with newbies. Glen Eden also boasts a terrain park, a mini park, a tube park, and a complimentary shuttle to get you and all your gear from the parking lot to the main chalet and back. Check it out for an afternoon and have fun!

I live in Milton and am ten minutes from the hilll i go there 4 times a week and it's not just because it's close and convenient or because the hills and park are great.

I COME FOR THE FOOOD cheeseburgers poutines and pogo cant beat it prices are great employees are well trained and quick the line looks huge when u get down stairs but boy it goes fast. And the prices are realistic un like someplaces where u spend 20 $ on food and 60 $ on a lift ticket glen eden you spend 10$ on food and 30$ on a lift ticket BEST SMALL MOUNTAIN IN ONTARIO

busy during the holidays!
Posted on 12/31/2010 by: Anonymous

Although you won't see much snow on the ground as you drive to Glen Eden, the snowmakers have been busy, because all the runs are open and operating and in good condition. As expected, the slopes were PACKED with people on Christmas holidays, so bring a bit of extra patience, as you might need to maneuver around others and the lineups for the lifts (or the magic carpet in the learning centre) are all very long. That being said, the conditions were good and the weather was nice - we had a great day!

Great for novices, those low on gas.

This isnt even close to being a (black diamond as they say) "getaway" ski vacation or day trip, but its nice for Torontonian/GTA residents on the west side. If you are a novice/newly intermediate skiier this place is great for you because the hills aren't very challenging. The terrain park is definitely done well since it doesn't cost extra money, and the value is only passable overall (when considering inconvenient features such as far parking lot, and seperate bunny hills).
