About this Skandia, Michigan Ski Shop / Snowboard Shop

We are an Archery and cross country ski pro shop with an outdoor 3-D archery range in the summer and fall, and groomed cross country ski trails in the winter. We sell and maintain archery equipment, including compound bows, crossbows, arrows and all archery accessories. For cross country skiing, we feature complete sales of equipment (skis, poles, boots, bindings and accessories), rental of cross country ski equipment for all sizes, and snowshoe rentals (with a designated snowshoe trail). In our lodge, we have a snack bar, picnic tables, fire place, and heated bathroom.

Ski Rental / Snowboard Rental
Cross country ski package rentals are $11.00 peer day used on site, $12.00 per day taken away. Snowshoe rentals are $7.00 peer day used on site, $10.00 per day taken away. Our ski rentals are Atomic waxless skis equiped with Solomon step-in bindings. Our rental snowshoes are by Tubbs and Redfeather Last updated on 05/22/2012. Always call for latest pricing.

Types of Gear
In our ski department, we carry skis, boots, bindings and poles for all of the catagories of cross country skiing (touring, skating, and backcountry). Our kids ski program features mostly waxless skis, boots and bindings by Atomic, with an option to trade-up or trade in. In our archery department, we carry bows and accessory equipment to fit any size person, and any size wallet. One of our best sellers is the Mission Craze bow package ($450) which will fit almost everyone, from a small child (15# pull-19" draw) to a large adult (74# pull-30" draw), making it an almost universal bow.
