Ski Butternut Ski and Snowboards Shop is the largest dedicated ski shop in the Berkshires. We are conveniently located at the base of Ski Butternut's slopes only 40 yards from the areas signature Top Flight Quad Chairlift. We offer a professional and knowledgeable staff that can guide you theroug the selection of your gear. We live for snow and it shows. Custom Bootfitting is available by appointment. We carry the biggest and best brands on snow: including Atomic, Rossignol, Salomon, Volkl, Obermeyer, Marker, Helly Hanson, Orage, Isis, Four Square, Special Blend, Horny Toad, Five Season, Burton, Ride, Northwave, Drake, Vans, 5150, Scott, Red, Analog and many many more. We are a full service shop.
Our on snow Demo Center also provides the opportunity for you to try before you buy! The Store OPENS October 5th and remains open right through the end of the ski season usually the 2nd weekend in April.
Store hours are: 10 am to 5 p.m in October and November - 6 days a week (closed Thursday). Once the Ski area opens we open the doors 1/2 hour before lifts run and it remains open until 5 pm each day.
Mon - Fri non holiday that means 8:30 - 5. Weekends and holidays we are open 7:45 to 5 p.m.

What They Rent - Ski Rental Near Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Ski Rental / Snowboard Rental
Rentals come out of our on site Rental Building. Adult Rental Rates are $32 for a day. Juniors are $27, young kids are $15.
Performance Demos are also available at our on snow demo tent. Priced from just $25 for 3 hour demo, $35 full day 1-pair of Skis, $45 Full Day demo where you can test up to 3-Pairs of skis. Brands available in the on Snow DEMO Center are: Atomic, Rossignol, Salomon and Volkl. Make an informed purchase try before you buy. We'll even credit the cost of your DEMOS off the purchase of our skis. Some restrictions apply see store manager for details.
Season Leases
We offer season long rentals through our rental shop. Cost is $99 for Juniors and young kids for Skis or Snowboard, Bindings boots and poles. Cost for adults (anyone ages 14+years) is only $139 for a ski or snowboard setup. Last updated on 10/04/2007. Always call for latest pricing.

We have a full service TUNE CENTER offering general Hot wax, P-Tex work, Stone Grinding, Hand Filing, Special tunes even full on razor sharp racing tunes. Season long $95 Weekly waxing and Sharpening available.
