THE BEST +. This guy Kurt W took extra time to explain many technical and fitting elements, which turned out to be spot on! He helped me narrow down the best boots for me at the best price, sized and fit me like a king. Until now, I had no idea what an "aggressive" fit is and really did'nt believe it at first... Until I skied on them... WOW! The best part was that I was at nearby Whitetail that day, and while in the lift line a voice came from behind, "nice boots!" I turned around and it was Kurt W. He rode up with me and we talked about all things skiing. Now you have to understand this guy is older (maybe late 40's or so?) and then took a run together... he blew my mind and every other skier off the hill... He ripped like a 20 year old!!! Turns out he's 55 and was skiing with some serious injuries - dam nice! Never judge a book by it's cover and hooked on the ski center for life!!! I only hope I can be that good at any age... I'm 27.

My family both alpine and telemark ski. Washington Ski Center is one of the few shops that has it all. But it comes at a price, the highest price. Granted, their clientele is decidedly upscale. I'm not at all opposed to paying to play, but I found the customer service to be lacking. The store feels like a lot more style than substance. It's also just a really busy busy place and hard to get waited on. It took hours for us to get a telemark package and boot fitting (which we scheduled). My husband was leery of the size the fitter insisted was right...and the boots have been a misery. They're simply too small. The boot fitter ignored my husband (an expert telemark skier for over 20 yrs). So we're not impressed, but we're still glad they're around for the selection.

Lots of options to select from, overall good experience.
