Nice place to take the family for the weekend. Staff has always been very friendly.

I am a season pass holder and have been one for quite a few years things have changed. They no longer seem to want to make snow when they can. Then they say something about temperature inversion I have been there when they said the temperature was 42 believe me it was below freezing. Well they will not my money again

They are trying real hard to make snow but the wearther just wont allow them them to. Pray for colder wearther so they can open up.

Being from Ga Ober is a great place for a weekend ski getaway. While the slopes are small and can get crowded. There is nothing better than being able to drive 31/2 hours and be skiing. My kids love going even after having skied at Snowshoe. What I really like is the price. To be able to ski on a Friday night for 15 dollars (I have my own equipment) is a great deal. It is not skiing in WV or even NC but it’s better than not skiing at all.

Great place to take the kids or for a quick getaway. Crowded on the weekends so get their early or try during the week. Lots of slush on normal sunny winter days which can slow you down but overall a fun experience. Will return yearly till my kids get more experienced at skiing.

We always try to get away for a weekend to ski here. Not too crowded on a non-holiday weekend. Great customer service this season.

We went to ober gatlinburg last year and my kids loved it,they loved the snow tubing it was absolutely beautiful up there,and afterward they loved getting the hot chocolate..ha ha,there very excited about going this year because they get to ski,cant wait to see ya'll again this year

Great place to go for quick weekend getaway as long is it is NOT a holiday.

I love to take my two kids (5&11) here for a couple of weekend getaways. Not much variety in slopes and the conditions can vary greatly but for being so far south and for the price I still feel like we get a good deal for our money. Great deals on Friday night $15 lift tickets can't be beat.

Awesome liitle spot to ski and close to home!! An excellent addition to this ski resort is the snow tubing. The lines seemed a little long for snow tubing on the day I went. It would have been better if the staff would send people down as soon as they arrived at the top insted of trying to send all the lanes at the same time. I would love to see this ski resort expand its skiing area by adding more runs, but all in all , a great place to spend the weekend!!

Great ski resort for just average skiers and boarders. There is nothing special at Ober such as terrain parks or anything. However, the prices are extremely reasonable! $30 weekday, and $45 weekend day, plus $15 night session from 6-10 on weekdays. If your in or around the area definitely go! It is totally worth the money, plus it is never really crowded. Be prepared to dish out some serious cash for concessions though. The best way to do it is to eat before you go, and then go out somewhere else besides ober after you leave.

Good place to go on a non-holiday weekend when the crowds are down. If you can get there on a Friday night and have your own equipment can ski very cheap. Conditions very and can be icy at times but that should be expected when skiing in the south.

We live in Florida and have been coming to Gartlinburg for 13 yrs. My children and family have learned to ski and ice skate at Ober Gatlinburg. Looking forward to celebrating our 14th yrs in Gatlinburg in Feb.

Its a great place to to learn to snowboard. They have some great slopes to start learning. And a few harder slopes. Excellent food and stuff to do inside. And not over crowded.

Its a good place to snowboard its kind of small but its got a steep slope which is great for snowboard. Overall if you want a quick getaway weekend this place is a great place to go for the weekend.

Ober Gatlinburg is an awesome place to snowboard or ski. They may not have many trails but when you love the sport it doesn't matter. This is a great place for tourists visiting the area in the winter. The staff is very friendly and willing to help.

It is so beautiful up there. I can't wait to go back!

Ober Gatlinburg offers a great tram ride with spectacular views. However, the actual resort feels cheaply built. The food is horrible, with no good seating available to watch the skiing. As for the snow, there is alot of congestion at the bottom. And the lifts all begin in the ski school area, which is usually littered with bodies on the ground. Once on the lift, things improve, with several good blue and black runs to choose from. If you need to ski and are close to gatlinburg, then this is the place for you.
