Totem Pole Ski Shop Reviews

My husband, a first time skier, rented ski equipment for 2 days. Once at the slopes, he found that the skis would not slide at all. A friend put them on & also could not ski on them. We tried to call the shop for 45 min & got only a busy signal. We broke down & rented skis on the mountain, so that my husband could ski. We returned the rentals the same day at 3pm: the owner would not refund us, even though the skis were used only for 30 minutes of WALKING them down a bunny trail. We had the receipt with the time of the new rentals, etc, but the owner would not listen & told us outright that he had no reason to believe us. He LOOKED at them & said they were fine! A guy there told us that we could have done 3 more runs or could have skied backwards in order to 'pull the wax out of the pores'..! He did not rent equipment in order to fix it & he’s a first time skier! The attitude & customer service provided was abominable. I do NOT recommend this shop to anyone for any purpose.
