I WOULD GIVE NO STARS but it won't let me submit my review without at least one!!! - SKI NORTH WENT BANKRUPT - I ordered and paid for skis from them for my daughter for Christmas the day before they went bankrupt - they have my money and I have no skis! I can't get ahold of the owner - unethical behavior and inexcusable! We have been faithful customers over the years buying 3 snowboards, skis, helmets, ski/board bags, jackets, annual tune-ups,goggles, etc - and now I lose MY hard earned money and my daughter's Christmas gift because THEY go bankrupt???? Why should I be financially penalized and they are unaccountable???? They plan to reopen under a new name - I will never shop there again!

I use to only shop at Ski North. I live approx an hr from any of the possible stores, but would make the trip for their selection and what use to be great customer service. They have since (probably b/c of market conditions) cut out one store and slashed their product line by over 75%. This is all understandable and can be assumed with the lack of people buying extraciricular gear these days. But if they had an internet site or had transferred their previous number over I wouldn't have wasted a whole day driving around Pittsburgh looking for stuff they didn't even carry anymore. And when I finally found a store that was open, it seemed like they didn't even want to sell me a set of skis. The guy that waited on me, asked me what I was looking for and when I told him, wanted to tell me why I was looking for something I would doubtfully find and didn't attempt to find me something comparable.

Ski north has great prices! they also have a wide variety of ski and snowboard equipment. The service is fast and the people who work there are great
