| Sunice was founded in 1976 in Alberta, Canada. It originated as a skiwear brand and transcended its technical outerwear capabilities into the golf market in the early nineties. It was met with success as this industry gravitated towards its ability to design sport specific garments that truly help enhance the game. Owned and run by Fletcher Leisure Group Inc. out of Montreal, Canada, a company with 42 years of experience in the golf industry, it’s no surprise that this brand can meet the demands of the most discerning golfer as well as the avid skiier.
In 1982, Sunice outfitted its first expedition to Mount Everest. Two years later the company was chosen to create clothing for the Summer Olympics. Then, in 1988, Sunice was selected as an Official Supplier to the 1988 Winter Olympics. Sunice had clearly become a recognized expert and leader in the technical outerwear industry with a brand that offered not only fashionable products but also a superior fit to amateur and professional athletes alike.
In June, 2007 Sunice announced that it was once again supporting Canadian Olympic sport by joining the official licensee program for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in the Outerwear and Activewear Apparel category.
