An evolution of Kaenon's award-winning Kore™ - this fresh, half-rim style is feathery-light yet incredibly durable, and features unique Kaenon Polarized design advancements - including enlarged, web-like temple tips that distribute the load for a more secure fit and buried Variflex™ rubber for a cushioned grip and all day comfort. Hard Kore is offered in two lens shape options – normal for most face shapes and a larger lens for those who prefer additional coverage or require a bigger face fit. Designed for both men and women, Hard Kore is currently available in Black and Tobacco frame colors and features unique asymmetrical, metal temple icons, with the K-icon on one side and the Kaenon script engraved on the other. Hard Kore retails for $199 with a protective metal hard case and is Rx-adaptable. |

| Kaenon SR-91„¥ lens material. NOT Glass. NOT Polycarbonate. Kaenon Polarized SR-91„¥ is a revolutionary new lens material . SR-91 is a radically new polarized lens material that blends the best properties of traditional glass and polycarbonate lenses. While glass lenses provide high optical acuity, glass is heavy and can shatter. On the other hand, polycarbonate lenses are light and impact-resistant, but their optical quality is relatively poor.
In SR-91, we combined the high optical acuity of the finest glass lenses with the ultra-light weight and strong impact-resistance of the best polycarbonate lenses. All of the good. None of the bad.
COLTS Laboratories, an independent testing facility, has certified Kaenon Polarized lenses with an optical acuity and clarity rating of 40 - the highest possible score in the stringent U.S. government testing regimen, ANSI Z.87.1. COLTS also found SR-91 exceeded the impact-resistance standards mandated by ANSI Z.87.1. |
