About Above and Beyond/Alaska

We operate under a USFS permit to ski 15,000 square miles (about the size of Rhode Island) in the Coast mountains/Juneau Icefield and the Chilkat mountains.This makes our job easy to find you the goods!

All of our guides are leading industry professionals.Countless years as Professional Ski Patrollers/rescuers,Ski-mountaineering guides,Professional Emt's,High-altitude climbing guides and Heli industry professionals.We have a passion for sharing Alaska's goods.We also work with the Southeast Alaska Avalanche Center to provide guests with certification and the most cutting edge avalanche technology.

- Avalanche Level II
- Professional guiding experience(Alaska and international perfered)

Equipment Used

We use the best maintained state of the art A-stars in the industry, combined with professional heli-ski pilots that are seasoned Alaskans. We operate a 26' Hewes craft high-speed water taxi for skier drop-offs/pick-ups.

Booking Policy

We require a 50% deposit 30 days in advance and the amount in full at the start of trip.We have many weather alternatives and will get you skiing. Book a trip before December 15th and get 10% off.

We have a deluxe 9 acre wilderness lodge on the water with a LZ for groups.We have many options in town from budget to deluxe b&b's for people who want nightlife.
