About Powder Cowboy

With 3,500 acres of new terrain, Powder Cowboy Catskiing now boasts 6,000 acres of awesome terrain, equaling the size of many North American ski resorts (imagine Whistler or Aspen with 2 feet of fresh powder open only for you and 23 friends). The Lizard range of the Canadian Rocky Mountains is legendary for deep dry snow; with an average of 350 inches of snow annually, it's a powder playground for skiers and boarders alike. The mountains and alpine bowls provide stunning open slopes, amazing rolling pitches and perfectly positioned trees for some of the best naturally gladed tree skiing in the BC Rockies.

Come and experience the powder of the Canadian Rockies at Powder Cowboy Catskiing.

Combining the legendary powder of Canada's Rocky Mountains and the western culture of the Columbia Valley, Powder Cowboy Catskiing is truly a unique experience! Whether you're skiing or boarding, the 8-14 daily runs will quickly become your most memorable. As the day ends, you'll have 10,000 to 14,000 vertical feet of bowls, open slopes and awesome tree skiing under your belt with the longest run stretching 2,500 vertical feet. You have the option to book three or four day tours from mid December to the end of March. Guests visiting Powder Cowboy Catskiing should be intermediate to advanced skiers and boarders in good physical condition. There are 12 guests and 2 guides per snowcat and only 2 snowcats' - that's 6000 acres of powder for only 2 dozen people. Saddle up and hold on!
