Guide Certifications & Experience

Three guides per group. Guides are certified as per the standards of the HeliCat Canada Associaiton (formerly BCHSSOA) meaning they hold ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) / IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations) and/or CSGA (Canadian Ski Guide Association) certification.

Equipment Used

Two modern Bombardier (Prinoth) snowcats to serve steep, deep powder terrain only for the experienced backcountry enthusiast. Some roads are 40 degrees (90% grade) allowing us to climb fast to the goods. Only operation to guarantee 100000 ft per week. The heated cabins are custom made for the comfort of our guests. All guests face forward, lunch and hot and cold beverages are available at all times. The design is so popular that other operations have requested we build cabs for them.

Ski Areas Nearby

Whitewater Winter Resort (Nelson) and Red Resort (Rossland) are the two closest. Revelstoke Mountain Resort is only 2 1/2 hours away. BC road trips also include from Kicking Horse and Fernie, while Schwietzer and Big Mountain are close in the USA.

Booking Policy

Make certain you know we are the type of operation you are looking for. We will gladly assist you to find the best operation to suit your needs. We require a 40% deposit upon booking to confirm space, and complete balance is due November 15.

Training & Instruction

We host special improvement clinics each December and March for those who want to step up to the next level. Otherwise, all our guests are experienced powder enthusiasts looking for a group adventure in steep, wild, Selkirk Mountain terrain.

Expanded terrain and extensive glading offers even more options for on 12 guests per day! Brad new passenger cab (2007-08) makes for even more comfortable ride to the steep powder slopes.
