The Alley Loop, a signature Crested Butte race and costume party, returns with a chance for all ages and abilities to Nordic ski downtown Crested Butte, through alleys, over bridges and by charming downtown homes. As part of the Ski Marathon Series and an American Birkebeiner qualifying race, more challenging loops traverse through the groomed outskirts of Crested Butte. 5k-full marathon races in both classic and skate skiing. Music, food, and drinks abound with the beer garden at the finish line and then later at the awards ceremony. The event also features a Friday night ski-pub crawl, "Taste of the Alley"!
