What's New This Season at Snowmass
Already one of North America’s premier resorts, Snowmass continues to undergo a host of on-mountain improvements that will greet skiers and riders for the 2012-2013 season.
Elk Camp constitutes one of the largest on-mountain projects for ASC in the 2012-2013 season. The $13 million dollar venture will provide a restaurant with seating for up to 300 guests. The restaurant menu concept will feature a rotisserie station, full of golden brown chickens; a pizza station, with a custom built pizza oven; a salad bar with interesting, ‘ready to eat’ grains and prepared salads, as well as a soup station.
Snowmass will add 230 acres of new terrain on Burnt Mountain this season, bringing total skiable acreage to 3,362 acres, the second largest ski area in Colorado. The terrain on Burnt Mountain features rolling, low-angle meadows, glades and spectacular views into the valleys between Snowmass and Buttermilk.
