About Terry Peak
Terry Peak Ski Area is located in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota and just minutes from the historic towns of Lead and Deadwood. Terry Peak is a full-service ski area and has two base areas with day lodges. Terry Peak is the highest lift served, ski and board area east of the Rockies, offering 1,100 vertical feet of rise, and is home to the Black Hills only two high-speed detachable quad chairlifts. Slopes are groomed nightly, including the Terrain Park, and snowmaking provides coverage on 60% of the mountain. The recent 100 acre expansion for intermediate and expert skiers & riders include Maringo, Missing Link, North Side and Ben Hur Glades, and have added a downhill experience unlike anywhere else in the Black Hills.
Many events are held through the season, demo days, live music series, freestyle events, and the Terry Peak Riders Cup. New events are always in the works so stay posted.

powder?
besides for the price of a two lift "mountain" South Dakota just got dumped on so if you get this and get a chance to. Powder is beautiful partially packed, but hit the terrain park and u won't have to worry about bustin y...More |
