 Windham Mountain is the premier alpine lifestyle that is so close to home. A great resort, terrific snowmaking, a cool base lodge, a quaint village, loyal and passionate guests and staff and it’s easy to get here. With 1600 vertical feet of skiing, Windham Mountain is a big mountain – with trail lengths and vertical descents comparable to most resorts in the Northeast.
Ninety-seven percent snowmaking coverage and nightly grooming ensures the best possible snow conditions each day. Ten lifts – including two high speed detachable quads – get you to the top quickly. Windham Mountain has the most snowmaking acreage of any resort within a 200 mile radius from Central Park. And skiers and riders enjoy unique resort features including the Big Air Bag (big jumps, soft landing), five terrain parks varying from beginner to expert and night skiing.

Dissapointing
Started out fine but soon the crowds showed up and the slopes got skied off fast. Lots of slick slopes and beginners on the intermediate slopes. Got VERY crowded. Decided to call it a day around 2:00. Good thng I showed u...More |

Excellent Skiing
Skiing was excellent with the tremendous amount of snow that Windham received and Friday the 5th of March was not crowded.

What's New This Season at Windham Mountain
Windham Mountain has invested in more efficient snowmaking infrastructure over the last few years. This seasons’ modifications include over 4500 feet of new pipe, moving 50 snow gun locations and 20 new valves all to maximize efficiency, improve quality, open trails faster, resurface after weather events and build the five terrain parks.
Under optimal conditions, the resort is able to cover the equivalent of 37 football fields in two days. In addition to making that number larger, this season’s snowmaking improvements will also improve the quality of the man-made snow produced.
Additional improvements for the 2012-2013 winter season include a new shuttle bus, expanded seating in the 3500 Club, and upgrades to ski and snowboard rental equipment.
The Resort also continues its commitment to environmental sustainability with new heating and cooling systems in the base lodge and new energy efficient lighting and motion sensors.
