About Loon Mountain
The readers of SKI Magazine have rated Loon Mountain #9 in the East, and #1 in accessibility in the magazine’s annual “Top 50 Resort Guide.” Whether you have a passion for corduroy cruisers or technical steeps, you're guaranteed to carve superior snow at Loon Mountain. Home to one of the largest and most energy-efficient snowmaking systems in New England, Loon ensures your on-snow experience will be top notch. In fact, it's backed by our Superior Snow Guarantee, one of the strongest guarantees in the business.
In the last six years, over $20 million has been invested to expand terrain and add South Peak; more than double snowmaking output; and add more uphill capacity and state-of-the-art grooming technology.

What's New This Season at Loon Mountain
After investing $20 million in the past five years to add more terrain, uphill capacity and state-of-the-art snowmaking & grooming technology, Loon Mountain continues its commitment to providing a great guest experience in 2012-2013. This season, we're installed 42 new snow guns on Lower Twitcher, and we've built the Burton Riglet Park & Lil' Stash, two innovative new terrain parks for kids.
