The base station of the ski lifts into the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area is located in Kaltenbach. Named "The Best Connection" the ski area boasts 171 km of impeccable ski runs all the way down to Hochfügen. Two 8-person gondolas ensure that waiting lines are virtually unknown here. The famous "Kirstallhütte" already saw such famous guests as the German and the Austrian presidents, and is considered the Zillertal´s best ski hut. NEW = the "Wedelhütte*****". But there are plenty of other mountain huts and inns in the ski area that invite you to stop by and relax. At the base station there are several après-ski bars and many ski service shops.

The Almdudler Park Hochzillertal is located near the exit of the 8-person chairlift Snow Express.
The snow park has a total length of 600 m and a total of 14 different jumps. The Superpipe is located near the top station of the 8-person gondola Hochzillertal II. There is high the daily groomed super-pipe, 100 m long and 5 meters.
