About Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is located 2.5 hours west of Calgary, along the TransCanada Highway at Golden, B.C. Situated in the one of the most spectacular settings in the world, the resort sits in the Dogtooth range of the Purcell Mountains. Six National Parks surround the resort – Banff, Glacier, Kootenay, Yoho, Mt. Revelstoke and Jasper.

What's New This Season at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
This year to celebrate Kicking Horse Mountain Resort's 10th winter anniversary we have opened a 4th bowl as inbound terrain. Superbowl adds more then 300 meters of new vertical featuring 17 newly marked trails and chutes!!
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has been focusing on softening our resort experience for the intermediate and beginner skiers. We have done substantial summer grooming and stump removal of our green, blue and lower-mtn black runs. We have added wintch points for the cats so that more runs will be groomed on a nightly basis.
We have also had a new Resort Master Plan approved by the B.C. Government which allows for new lifts, snow making capabilities and a golf course as well as many more hotels and real-estate opportunities.
