About The Remarkables
For beginners, novices, youth & entire families, The Remarkables is the natural choice. Its high alpine location, north facing sunny aspect, fantastic terrain parks, great snow & friendly, relaxed nature makes it a true alpine experience for all ages. Magestically beautiful, its wide open bowls are surrounded by the rugged peaks of The Remarkables mountain range. A gentle sloping beginners' area in full view of the base building is equipped with 3 surface conveyor lifts providing awesome first time fun. An additional 2 chairs offer the novice skier & rider a wide array of intermediate trails and the Shadow chair serves a swath of terrain for the advanced & expert snow user. Further up the slopes a progressive network of terrain parks includes the novice park, the main terrain park and the Southern Hemisphere's only Stash, a Burton signature park. Lift served and hikeable big mountain terrain offers challenging excitement for free skiers and riders, completing the versatility.
