About this Club

The Richmond Ski Club is a social organization which promotes snow skiing and boarding and also enjoys year round activities such as hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, and tubing. We get together regularly for Happy Hours at various locations around the Richmond Area. This year we have 7 week long ski trips, 4 weekend trips, and one all-inclusive warm weather trip to Mexico.

Area Served

Our 500+ members are mostly from central Virginia, but are increasingly from out of state, as members relocate and stay connected with the club, and meet us at our destinations.

Meetings

We have regular monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month, October through April. Visit www.richmondskiclub.org for the latest information on events and meeting location. (Currently at the Richmond Country Club on Patterson Ave near Rt. 288)

Memberships

Membership fees: Starting @ $25 for Juniors aged 18 to 25, and goes up to $50, depending on individual, or family, and category. See membership app in newsletter: www.richmondskiclub.org

Trips & Events

We have 8-10 weeklong trips to the western U.S., Canada, and Europe, plus weekend trips. In season, some of our members ski daily at Wintergreen, where our club has a season pass program. We have regular meetings and socials, and also do camping, biking, hiking, and kayaking. We also go to warm weather destinations such as Punta Cana and Jamaica.
