We are a year around adult Outdoor Fun Club. Summer time is biking, canoeing/kayaking, golfing and socializing. Winter is cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and socializing. We were founded to help people in making connections so you never have to go it alone. Everyone 18 or older is welcome to join our group. Meet others who have the same passions in life as you. Most of all have fun and be safe.

Most of our adult members are from the Des Moines Area, but is not confined to that area. We have members from Marshalltown and Ames.
Our Iowa Ski Club monthly meetings start with an August Kick Off picnic. Our monthly club meetings continue on the second Friday of each month, September thru April, 7PM-10PM. Our Iowa Ski Club meetings are free for members. Non-Members $5.00
Membership dues are $25 a year for singles and $35 for family membership. ---- The Iowa Ski Club, Inc is a Non-Profit Corporation. Individuals participating in Iowa Ski Club events therein forever release, acquit and forever discharge the Iowa Ski Club, Inc., and its Board members and other members and other participants either in setting up activities or in participating therein from any and all claims whatsoever including all claims for damages or causes of action which might arise because of any injury or damage sustained out of or as a consequence of such activity, participation or preparation therefor.
Each year we have a week long downhill ski trip. We survey our members to determine where they want to ski. We normally provide information on our week long downhill ski trip at our August Kick Off meeting.
