About this Club

Seacoast Ski Club is a year-round ski club sponsoring ski trips, outdoor sport activities, and social events for members. As a volunteer-run non-profit group we offer good values on our ski packages, and all other club activities. Our members generally share active outdoor lifestyles, an interest in travel, and enjoy the social opportunities clubs can offer. Trip leading members are approved to organize and promote club sponsored ski vacations upon demonstrating sufficient experience and fulfilling trip leaders training. Trip leaders are rewarded for their organizational and promotional efforts by a reduced rate or complimentary tickets. Non-skiers may find there are more than enough other activities of interest to join our group including kayaking and hiking.

Area Served

While most of our membership is from New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont our trips are world-wide. Chamonix, St Moritz, Cortina, Innsbruuk, Chile, Zermatt, Jungfrau, Davos, Banff, Whistler and the Rocky Mountain states are typical one week trip destinations. There are many weekend and single day trips in New England to Stowe, Sugarbush, Jay Peak, Sunday River, Sugarloaf, Cannon Mountain, Attitash, and others.

Meetings

SSC Meetings are held the second Monday of each month September - June. The meetings start at 7:00PM and are held at the Red Hook Brewery, in Pease International Tradeport, Portsmouth NH

Memberships

Membership is required prior to participatie in any club trips. Annual memberships are $30 for single memberships, and $45 for families. We also offer a Guest Membership for $20 that allows guests to participate in a single weekend trip.

Trips & Events

Each year we run three week-long ski trips including Western US, Canada and Eurp[e plus numerous weekend and day trips throughout New England and Eastern Canada. The club offers cross-country skiing trips, day and overnight hiking, bicycling weekends, kayaking, picnics, theater, movies, guest speakers, a public ski swap, an annual dinner dance and more
