Up the Creek Ski & Recreation Club was founded in 1972 to serve the Denver, CO metropolitan area. UTC is first and foremost a ski club, but also offers a wide variety of recreational, social, and cultural activities. The club's demographics include: average age 40's & 50's female/male ratio 50/50, and singles/couples ratio 75/25.
Benefits for joining UTC include discounted admission fee to four major annual parties, discounts for attending club sponsored events, and inclusion into the UTC YahooGroups e-mail list. The four major annual parties include two summer picnics, the Summer Bash held the first Saturday of June, and the Summer Wake the Saturday following Labor Day. UTC also holds annual Halloween Costume Dance and Super Bowl parties. All 4 of these parties include food, beer, wine, and pop. We also have 3 major Black Tie Option Dinner and Dance Parties, The Spring Fling, The Fall Ball, and the Holidays party. There are organized Friday night happy hours every Friday at different bars or restaurants in the Denver area.
The UTC Yahoo! Groups e-mail list allows members to post and receive messages about club related activities including organizing carpooling to and from club events. We also have a Meetup Group at www.meetup.com/upthecreek-org. UTC is for adult singles and couples who enjoy sharing good times with good friends!

UTC is based in the Denver, CO metropolitan area.
UTC currently holds bi-monthly club meetings every 2nd & 4th Thursday evenings at the Kennedy Golf Course clubhouse, 10500 East Hampden Avenue, Denver, CO (1.6 miles East of The Proof Nightclub). UTC also holds weekly Friday Happy Hours at locations throughout the Denver metropolitan area. The latest happy hour information is listed on our web site www.upthecreek.org. Club meetings and happy hours are free and open for anyone to attend.
Membership calendar year runs from Sep 1 - Aug 31 annually. New member dues is pro-rated at $8 plus $6 per month for the number of months remaining in the calendar year. Continuing renewing members dues is $52 if you renew your membership before September 30. UTC membership application form is available at club meetings or on-line at www.upthecreek.org
UTC offers recreational, social, and cultural events throughout the year. We are first and foremost a ski club with annual weekend trips to Steamboat Springs, Aspen, Wolf Creek Pass, Crestted Butte, Snow Mtn Ranch, Jackson Hole, Park City Utah, and Beaver Creek. UTC also runs a day bus 10 times to Copper, Vail, and Keystone.

UTC membership dues is based on a calendar year from September 1 - August 31 annually. New member dues is pro-rated at $5 per month for the number of months remaining in the calendar year. Winter season activities include skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and attending events such as The National Western Stock Show, Warren Miller ski movie, bowling night, etc. UTC also attends theatrical performances at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and attends shows at various comedy clubs. Summer season activities include hiking, road & mountain biking, camping, boating, water skiing, golfing, volleyball, softball, etc. UTC holds three annual weekend boating / camping trips. UTC also regularly offers an annual camping / 14er climbing weekend.
