13.Premiere Destinations – Mammoth Ski Club is not predominantly a travel club. Most of our events are held in the Mammoth Lakes area. But we do want to take advantage of our group buying power for an annual event at another (member determined) ski resort. Ski areas “bid” for the opportunity to serve ski clubs, and their annual events. Since Mammoth Ski Club will be one of the biggest ski clubs in America, members are likely to be offered the most advantageous deals. 14.Collective Wisdom and Mastermind
16.Bragging Rights – You will be a member of an affluent, elite group of skiers. Ski Heroes members will get action ski photos of themselves to hang on their walls for ultimate bragging rights. You’ll never have to ski alone or have your family and friends doubt your skiing abilities again.
17.Member-Driven– Mammoth Ski Club is member-driven, meaning whenever possible the members will get to vote on events and locations. You’ve never seen a ski club like this before because there’s never been a ski club like this before!
The Mammoth Ski Club is member-driven, and offers year-around seasonal events for snow skiing, hiking, tennis, mountain biking, exploring mining roads in your 4 wheel-drive, horseback riding to beautiful places, the Mammoth Motocross in June, and fall photography in October for its’ active members. Founding members will also get first chance at limited edition art, Mammoth Ski Club embroidered jackets featuring our mascot “Mammo”, helicopter powder skiing, annual ski swap, and other elite activities and offerings. Founding members will retain their elite Founding Member status as long as their membership is current and valid!
Mammoth Ski Club is perfect for people who want more than a bare bones ski club with high trip travel and occupancy rates. It is ideally suited for skiers with Mammoth Mountain Season Passes and/or a second home in Mammoth Lakes.

Area Served99% of our activities are at Mammoth Mountain. Mammoth Ski Club serves skiers who visit Mammoth more than 6 times a year regardless of where they live with a website and ski reports updated daily. Because skiers fly and drive into Mammoth from all over, so our members are not from 1 specific geographic area, although the majority of our members are from Southern California.
MeetingsSki Buddies meetings are the second Saturday of each month, and the Ski Heroes meetings are the second Sunday of each month unless announced otherwise. We do attend the Mammoth Motocross on a specific date which may or may not be the second weekend of the month.
MembershipsMembership is restricted to adults at this time. Complete Mammoth Ski Club membership information is available at our website at www.MammothSkiClub.com
Trips & EventsSki Buddies and Ski Heroes meetings are the second weekend each month on-slope at Mammoth Mountain. Meeting dates and times will expand as membership expands, and I poll members for the additional meetings they want at the time they want them.
Mammoth Ski Club supports the US Ski Team, and Dave McCoy's Mamoth Lakes Foundation. Ski Buddies meet on Saturdays and divide into ability levels before skiing the rest of the day. Ski Heroes meet on Saturdays at the Ski Buddies meetings, and then on Sunday for the meeting exclusively to photograph the Ski Heroes members while skiing to expose body position and balance issues, and get great action photos of themselves skiing.
