Our club was formed to promote the fellowship and mutual benefits of those interested in snow skiing among residents of East Tennessee

Area Served

Foothills Ski Club primarily serves East Tennessee, but our membership includes several ex-residents and friends now living outside Tennessee.

Meetings

We generally hold monthly meetings on the second Friday of every month from August to March. Our meetings are generally held at the New Midland Center in Alcoa, TN.

Memberships

Our annual dues are $35 for families and $30 for individuals

Trips & Events

Our major event is an annual European ski trip with an optional post-ski city visit. This year we are going to Chamonix and Nice. In 2005 we had a great trip to Bormio and Florence. In 2004 we went to Andorra and Barcelona; in 2003 to Grindelwald and Amsterdam; in 2002, St Moritz and Rome, and in 2001, Morzine and Paris. Our trips are always planned to have opportunities for our skiers and non-skiers.
