Focused on building mountaineering skills but also has many other activities throughout the year such as Ski Mountaineering and Nordic/Telemark Skiing classes.

You must have summitted a glaciated peak. Dues are $85 1st yr and $60/yr to maintain membership

Trips & Events

Ski Mountaineering Class: There are usually 8-10 ski mountaineering trips planned each year by the Mazamas Climbing Committee, from April - July. Nordic/Telemark Ski Classes: 4 classes held weekends in January. Choice of Beg, Intermed, Advanced, Telemark or Backcountry (Ski mountaineering is a separate program) Classes are taught by skilled volunteer instructors
