About this Club

The Catawba Valley Ski Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of skiing in the unifour area. The club is made up of family members and single adults who enjoy the sport of skiing and or ski racing. The club is run and governed by volunteers from the membership, with no paid officers. We are a member organization of The Crescent Ski Council, which is a group of more than 20 ski/snowboard clubs from all over the Southeastern US. As a member of the Catawba Valley Ski Club, our members have access to all the trips and activities of the other Crescent Ski Council clubs.

Area Served

We serve the entire Catawba Valley Area of the North Carolina Foothills, including the cities of Hickory, Lincolnton, Morganton and Lenoir. This area includes Catawba, Burke, Lincoln, Caldwell and Alexander Counties. We also have members from Watauga and Avery County in the NC Mountains.

Meetings

MEETING ARE HELD MONTHLY ON THE 2ND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH ( OCT. THRU MARCH ) AT 7:00 P.M.

Memberships

Membership Fees: Adult $25.00, Family $40.00
Signature of parent necessary if applicant is a minor (18 years of age or under)
I agree to abide by the By-laws of the Catawba Valley Ski Club.

Trips & Events

The club meets once a month for the 6 months of the fall/winter season.
