About this Club

Hello snow riders and Adrenaline junkies!

The Ski and Snowboard Club is a group centered around your favorite mountain sliding activities! . We encourage you to check out our website: www.indiana.edu/~snowski. Check out our events, pictures, merchandise, and planned trips!. The is no experience required to be a member, or to come to events, and you do NOT have to be an IU student! We have an amazing group of people and provide great entertainment and an awesome social and sports network!

Area Served

Local ski resorts include Paoli Peaks and Perfect North. Destination trips have included Jackson Hole, WY, Big Sky MT, Aspen/Snowmass CO, Crested Butte CO, Winter Park, CO, etc. and even resorts in Italy.

Meetings

There are no regular meetings, but there are membership meetings announced via listserv. There are also pre-trip meetings for the destination trips.

Memberships

Dues are $30/school year. Members do not have to be students, but do have to be 18+. Dues cover entrance to social events, rail jams, movie premieres and ski/board trips, along with the ability to win club prizes and giveaways, and access to refreshments/pizza at club events.

Trips & Events

The club take 2 big "destination" trips, over Winter and Spring breaks, usually to Western North American Resorts. Trip size ranges from 80-150 members on Winter break, to 15-30 on Spring Break. Throughout the winter, smaller trips travel throuout the midwest on the weekends. During the week and on weekends the club caravans to local resorts.
