About this Club

Downhill Skiers " X-Country Skiers " Snowboarders " - - Snowsports enthusiasts playing together for over half a century! The club originally formed in 1949 as The Gary Ski Club. But by the early '80s, membership had grown and the name "Duneland" (as in the sand dunes along the southern shores of Lake Michigan) was adopted to better reflect the club's new and more geographically diverse membership. While we're focused on winter sports, our club maintains a busy schedule throughout the year with activities like our Bike / Hike / Blade (held Tuesday evenings through the fair weathered months), an annual canoe trip, beach parties, and ballgames And, oh yeah, we take ski trips - - to some of the most beautiful places in the world. Our prices are competitive, and our camaraderie is unbeatable.
