About this Club

Springfield Ski Club in Springfield, Illinois, is an organization which organizes ski trips to Europe, Canada and all parts of the US. Our club also has touring trips to such places as Italy, Spain, Japan, Egypt to name a few. We also have bowling, golf and tennis leagues. We plan day trips to festivals, sporting events, wineries, shopping, dinner and other theater. We have a monthly Happy Hour on the third Thursday of every month. There are Halloween parties, sign up parties, a monthly dining out group, a Lake Luau with food and entertainment, and an Octoberfest which includes a 29 mile bike ride, burgers, brats, live music and, of course, beer. Our club is a social club and people are encouraged to join if they are interested in meeting folks with all kinds of interests.

We generally serve Central Illinois but have members all across the country.

Memberships

Dues are $35.00 per year for single and $45.00 for family.

Trips & Events

We generally have three western ski trips, a European ski trip and a few midwestern ski trips. We also have one touring trip per year and 6-10 day trips. There are 5 major parties each year and monthly Happy Hours.
