About this Club

The purpose is to promote and enhance the sport of skiing and related recreational activities. Our members participate in all winter and summer mountain sports. The club is managed by an elected Board of Directors.

The membership consists of individuals and families spanning a wide range of ages and diverse backgrounds, mostly residing in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Membership is open to persons 21 years of age and may include an adult partner and children. Facilities at the lodge include dormitory sleeping for 19 people in three rooms, separate men’s and women’s bathrooms, a large living/dining room with a large fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen, stocked with cooking and eating utensils.

Memberships

Membership is open to persons 21 years of age and may include an adult partner and children. Before being approved for membership. prospective members must visit the Lodge and learn the operating procedures there, attend 2 Club events (such as a monthly meeting), provide 2 recent photos of themselves, pay a $100 initiation fee, and sign a waiver.

Trips & Events

Monthly meetings in San Jose, Nov through May. Annual party in October to kick off the season. Group workparty in summer to clean and maintain lodge.
